Wow I am trying to understand this??? Why are customers main focus is the speaker. The main reason I got is for my smart devices. The speaker is a huge plus in my opinion. The convenience of being able to control you main electronics in the house by voice is great especially from the bed. The thing about the echo speaker if it is not good enough for you the use the bluetooth or Aux problem solved.

the home mini does sound a bit more hollow compared to the dot 3

I don't like something that records conversations

Should I get two echo dot's or one echo plus
